The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe is a wonderful movie based on the book by C.S. Lewis. The story is set during World War 2 and starts with the blitzkrieg in the U.K. Four brothers and sisters, Peter, Susan, Lucy and Edmond are sent to live in the country in a big house away from the war. In the house they find a wardrobe that leads them to the magical land of Narnia. While in Narnia they discover their destiny and encounter an evil witch and a mystical lion named Aslan.

Batman aka Bruce Wayne, again played by Christian Bale, returns for The Dark Knight movie. When the district attorney, Harvey Dent, decides to take on Gotham City’s toughest criminals, Batman teams up with him to try to once and for all put an end to crime and corruption in Gotham City. The crime bosses all pull together to try to stop them. The biggest threat of all is the Joker, played by the late Heath Ledger, who is absolutely awe-inspiring and spellbinding in his role as the dark and very dangerous Joker. Heath Ledger won a well-deserved Academy Award posthumously for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role. The Dark Knight is a brilliant and clever movie directed by Christopher Nolan who also directed Batman Begins.

Other stars of The Dark Knight include Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Monique Gabriela Curnen, Ron Dean, Cillian Murphy, Chin Han, Nestor Carbonell, Eric Roberts, Ritchie Coster and Anthony Michael Hall.

Forrest Gump is about a man named Forrest Gump who is somewhat “simple” of mind. Throughout the movie he tells his life story to different strangers who come and go while waiting at a bus stop. He begins with his early childhood where he meets a special friend named Jenny. He keeps telling his story through the Vietnam War and beyond and somehow he ends up being in many historic events in history. How Forrest Gump is able to look adversity straight in the eye and rise above it makes this a film that is somtimes comical and at other times very serious and tear-jerking.

Forrest Gump won 6 Oscars including best picture, best actor for Tom Hanks, best director for Robert Zemeckis, best writing, best visual effects and best film editing.

Forrest Gump stars Tom Hanks who is absolutely wonderful as Forrest Gump. The film also stars Rebecca Williams, Sally Field, Michael Conner Humphreys, Harold G. Herthum, George Kelly, Bob Penny, John Randall, Sam Anderson, Margo Moorer Ione M. Telech, Christine Seabrook, John Worsham, Peter Dobson and Siobhan Fallon.
