Transformers movie is about a war between the evil Deceptacons and the heroic and good Autobots. The Autobots and Deceptacons are alien robot races in separate factions who are able to transform themselves into machines that humans use everyday. The evil Deceptacons are out to get what is known as the All Spark, something super powerful their race created a long time ago to be able to bring life to all machines that man has built, thereby creating an army. The All Spark, which has never been used, was hidden away to avoid a huge war. The Autobots are trying to protect the All Spark, whereas the Deceptacons want it for evil doing.
With an all-star cast that includes Shia LeBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Rachael Taylor, Anthony Anderson, Jon Voight, John Tuturro, Michael O’Neill, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Amaury Nolasco, Zack Ward, Luis Echagarruga, and Travis Van Winkle. The film also features the voices of Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, and Hugo Weaving as the voice of Megatron, who is the leader of the Deceptacons. Transformers won three Academy Awards and one Visual Effects Society Award.
